F5D Spinners
Precision
These spinners are CNC turned from Aluminium. They come in two parts, a base and a cone. The cone fits into the base using a locating concentric slot at the base and at the top. This ensures that the spinner does not deform in use, in particular at the high rpm's seen in F5D competition. The spinner has been tested up to 60,000 rpm and 45,000 rpm in the air with a propeller.
Cooling
The aluminium spinner cone aids motor cooling by conducting heat away from the motor shaft and dissipating it on the spinner base and cone surface which are being "super cooled" by the air rushing over the front of the spinner by the fast moving model.
